Indigo Dye Stripe Skirt - Horizontal

A midi/full length striped skirt made with a rich indigo dyed cotton from Japan. This beautiful skirt was made following a ‘zero waste’ approach to pattern making, with no fabric wasted in it’s creation. To achieve this I’ve lined the pockets in a different fabric left over from a previous design.

The skirt features a flat faced waistband and deep pleats to the front with an elasticated back. The pleats give the skirt a more straight, neat appearance, while the elasticated back mean it’s comfortable to wear and will adapt with your body through the day.

Measurements:

The waistband measures 80 cm (31.5 inches) wide when unstretched and 110 cm (43.4 inches) at a comfortable stretch. There is no zip and the skirt will pull on over your hips or over your head.

It measures 90 cm (35.5 inches) long.

Washing and colour transfer:

Please either handwash or machine wash at 30° separately to other clothing or with dark colours. Colour may transfer onto lighter colours when worn, please take care when wearing with lighter coloured clothing.
